Personal Statement

Hello! My name is May Nguyen.

My deep fascination with design began with my sense of curiosity and wonder for how things came to be.

Growing up in Vietnam, the land of scooters, I learned how a car can be a very precious asset and  that always made me think about what it took to create one. My dad instilled that intrigue and passion that eventually  led me to a design career in this particular field.

In the immediate future I wish to continue growing as a designer while absorbing as much knowledge  as possible. I hope to continue designing products with an empathetic approach whether it is cars, handheld devices, soft goods,  experiences or any other object that can improve a person's day.
