I believe design is a tool that addresses the relationship between human-to-object (whereas, engineering: object-to-object) Design can be a powerful means to help solve user and business needs. I initially came to ArtCenter with the intent of solely becoming a transportation designer but that singular perspective expanded immensely as I went through the program. The amazing work of all my peers in the various departments inspired me to no end. Not only did I push myself to become the transportation designer I aspired to be but I had evolved my thinking as a 'designer' in the broadest sense. I took the initiative to take classes in Interaction, Product, Environmental, Advertising departments along with VR classes at Caltech and several transdisciplinary sponsored projects. My time at Honda Advanced Design allowed me to practice my experience on unconventional projects. I've not only become a lover of car design but of ALL design.
