Personal Statement

My goal as a designer is to combine ideas, concepts, and processes holistically to achieve new outcomes in the automotive field. In the past year, I was hired as a summer intern at Volkswagen Design Center California and won the 2018 Michelin Challenge Design global design competition with my Volkswagen Type 10 Pickup entry. I am embracing my creative accomplishments and motivated to exercise my professional experience in the automotive industry.

Work aside. If I’m not at a desk designing cars, you’ll probably find me at the beach, on a boat, or underwater scuba diving. I love the ocean. Studying and understanding marine life is my biggest source of inspiration.
