Hi, I’m Ehsan Momeninejad, and I grew up in Tehran, Iran. As a child, I couldn’t stop taking apart my toys, bicycles, and sometimes my parents’ space heater, in attempts to understand how machines worked. These man-made objects that solved real-world problems fascinated me.
My passion for problem-solving led me to get an Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in Manufacturing and Production. After that, my curiosity took me to aviation school, where I explored the world of aerospace science. Finally, in 2014, I came to America to study how my favorite machine--the car--is designed.
As an ArtCenter Transportation Designer, I focus on more than just aesthetics--I seek to address tangible problems in user experience and to design for specific needs. Everything I’ve learned at ArtCenter builds upon my previous studies, and now I’m looking forward
to making a tangible difference for users through my projects, solving problems and creating experiences with technology and transportation that feel as natural and carefree as flying.
